Previously known as the Paris of the East, Shanghai was the most vibrant and cosmopolitan city in China. Today, this international metropolis is undergoing an urban revival, quickly regaining its status as a sophisticated and fashionable cultural center.

SHANGHAI CITY
– THE CENTRE OF THE BOOMING YANGTZE RIVER DELTA REGION

Located at the estuary of the Yangtze River and occupying a central position on China’s eastern coast, Shanghai is fast emerging as the economic powerhouse of China.

Including the thriving provinces of Jiangsu and Zhejiang, the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) is home to around 91 millions people and has a GDP worth US$245 billions. The area has been chosen by the central government to lead the country’s drive to world economic supremacy.

The YRD Region is also one of the major production centres of the Chinese coatings industry.  Many multi-national enterprises have chosen to set up their China/Asia headquarter in this region.
