Located
at the estuary of the Yangtze River and occupying a central position
on China’s eastern coast, Shanghai is fast emerging as the economic
powerhouse of China.
Including the thriving provinces of Jiangsu and Zhejiang, the
Yangtze River Delta (YRD) is home to around 91 millions people and
has a GDP worth US$245 billions. The area has been chosen by the
central government to lead the country’s drive to world economic
supremacy.
The YRD Region is also one of the major production centres of the
Chinese coatings industry. Many multi-national enterprises have
chosen to set up their China/Asia headquarter in this region. |

Air |
|
There are
2 airports in Shanghai – The Hongqiao International Airport and the
Pudong International Airport. International flights will generally
use Pudong International Airport, which is located at Pudong New
Area. Please consult your travelling agent for flight schedules. |

Railway |
|
Shanghai Railway Station is the main
railway station in Shanghai. The station is located in Zhabei, to
the North of the city centre.
Shanghai Railway Station generally serves north and westward
locations. It is the terminus of the main Beijing-Shanghai railway
line and offers up to eight Z (non stop, deluxe) trains each day.
In addition to this there are T trains (high speed trains that only
stop at main stations) to Dalian, Beijing, Urumqi, Nanjing, Yangzhou,
Hangzhou, Xian, Lanzhou, Jinan, Tongling, Tianjin, Taizhou and
Ningbo. K trains (fast) serve Guiyang, Changsha, Guangzhou, Kunming,
Wuhan, Yinchuan, Xining, Nanchang, Zhanjiang, Fuzhou, Xiamen,
Yichang, Chongqing, Fuyang, Shenyang, Shijiazhuang, Baotou, Qingdao,
Tianjin, Taiyuan, Harbin, Jilin.
Many trains to South China and cities of the Yangtze River Delta
depart from Shanghai South Railway Station. |

Take
Metro Line 2 from Hong Qiao Airport, via the downtown area, gets off
at Longyang Road station (600m from SNIEC). |

Magnetically Levitated Train (Maglev) |
|
Maglev
travels through Pudong Int’l Airport and SNIEC, which only takes 8
min. |
|
Car
Park |
|
During
exhibition period, car parks in SNIEC are open to exhibitors and
visitors. The parking fee is RMB10 per entry (only valid for private
cars and mini-buses). |
|
Shuttle Bus Services |
|
During
the exhibition period Nov 21-23, the organizer will provide free
shuttle bus services between the venue and Metro Station (Longyang
Road). The shuttle bus services schedule is as follows:
21/11 8:15 am – 6:00 p.m.
22/11 8:30 am – 6:00 p.m.
23/11 8:30 am – 4:00 p.m.
The provision of Shuttle Bus Service is subject to the traffic
conditions. Headway is 15-20 mins.
The Organizer strongly recommends visitors/exhibitors travel via
Longyang Road station and the venue by feet during peak trafYESc
hours, which takes about 10 min.
Some of our official hotels also provide shuttle bus services to the
venue directly. Please check with your hotel directly upon
reservation and make advance
arrangement if necessary. |

International Visitors must obtain an
entry visa before visiting China. To avoid any delay, the
organizer strongly recommends visitors to apply for their entry visa
at least one month before departure.
Major travel agents worldwide can handle China VISA application.
Please contact your local travel agent for assistance. Or, you can
