Accompanying
CHINACOAT2007, a
technical Conference on
'Resins &
Additives: Widening
Formulation Options in
Waterborne Coatings'
was held two days prior
to the opening of the
show. A total of 14
papers were presented
with 146
delegates coming from 14
countries/regions
attending the
conference.

Two special
workshops on " Optimisation of Coating/Ink
Properties through Formulation Modification"
and "Improvement of Coating/Ink Properties
through Efficient Dispersion"
were attended by 128 industry specialists. |

Technical Seminar had
once again been opted by
CHINACOAT visitors as one of the
most popular activities for
technical interflow with leading
suppliers from the world.
A total number of 2,626
visitors had attended 46
seminar sessions held during the
3 days exhibition.

Technology Corner,
being held for the first time in CHINACOAT this year,
has provided a direct platform for visitors and
exhibitors for technology exchange. The
themes
are 'Nanotechnology' & 'Fluorine in Coatings',
and a total of 5 sessions were held. |

The
organizer this year invited representatives from 'Russia'
and 'Indonesia' to give presentations
on the status-quo and
development of
their coatings industry. |
