A total of 24,369 visitors had visited CHINACOAT2009 Shanghai.

A total of 3,098 overseas visitors had come to CHINACOAT2009 to source materials and technologies for their production needs.

There were 760 companies exhibiting in CHINACOAT2009. Among them 191 were first-time exhibitors.

Accompanying CHINACOAT2009, a technical Conference on 'Automotive Finishes: Focusing on the Key Aspects of Durability & Ecology' was held two days prior to the opening of the show. A total of 12 papers were presented with 80 delegates attending the conference.

Two special workshops on "Design & Optimisation of Coatings/Inks Formulations" and "Fundamental Principles of Coatings & Adhesives Formulation" were attended by 98 industry professionals.

Technical Seminar had once again been opted by CHINACOAT visitors as one of the most popular activities for technical exchange leading suppliers from the world.A total number of 1,836 visitors had attended 36 seminar sessions held during the 3 days exhibition.

NEW-TECH CORNER had provided a direct platform for visitors and exhibitors for technology exchange. The themes were 'Hygienic Coatings',  'Silicone Coatings' & 'Smart Additives', and a total of 8 sessions were held.

The organizer this year invited representatives from 'Thailand' and 'the Philippines' to give presentations on the status-quo and development of their coatings industry.
