Founded in April 2016, Hangzhou Electrochemical New Materials Co., Ltd. is a holding subsidiary of Hangzhou Electrochemical Group Co. and was established through the merger of the former CPVC Division and Specialty Resin Division of the group company. The enterprise is located in Hangzhou Dajiangdong Industrial Cluster Linjiang High-tech Industrial Park, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province within Hangzhou Electrochemical Group Co. with a registered capital of RMB 30 million yuan, covering an area of about 36,800 square meters, and is a limited liability company specializing in the production of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride resins and blends, specialty PVC resins and chloro ether resins, among others.


The production technology of chlorinated PVC resin was introduced from ARKEMA of France in 2010, adopting advanced solid phase chlorinated PVC technology. The special PVC resin originates from the 50-year accumulation of PVC production technology of Hangzhou Electrochemical Group Co., Ltd. and mainly focuses on PVC with high polymerization degree and extinction spinning performance, which is suitable for wire and cable and medical materials. The production of chloroether resin started in 2004, and it is the earliest enterprise in China to produce chloroether resin by emulsion method, which is a high-quality connecting material in composite ink and anticorrosive coatings.
