| Founded in April 2016, Hangzhou Electrochemical New Material Co. Ltd. is a holding subsidiary of Hangzhou Electrochemical Group Co. Ltd. and was established through the merger of the former CPVC Division and Special Resin Division of the group company. The enterprise is located in Hangzhou Electrochemical Group Co., Ltd. in Linjiang Hi-Tech Industrial Park, Qiantang District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, with a registered capital of RMB 30 million, covering an area of about 36,800 square metres, and is a limited liability company specializing in the production of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) resins and blends, special PVC resins, chloro ether resins, and aqueous chlorinated vinyl copolymer emulsions, among others. The production technology of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride resin was introduced from ARKEMA in France in 2010, adopting advanced solid phase chlorinated polyvinyl chloride technology. Special PVC resin originates from the 50-year accumulation of PVC production technology of Hangzhou Electrochemical Group Co., Ltd. and mainly focuses on PVC with high polymerisation degree and racemic spinning performance, which is suitable for wire and cable and medical materials. The production of chloroether resin started in 2004, and it is the earliest enterprise in China to produce chloroether resin by emulsion method, which is a high-quality connecting material in composite ink and anticorrosive coating. Water-based vinyl chloride copolymer emulsion is applied in industrial anti-corrosion, textile flame retardant and waterproof, dispersible emulsion paint for construction, special paper and other fields.
