Institute of Chemistry CO., Ltd Henan Academy of Science was established in 1958 and originally affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It was restructured into Henan Academy of Sciences Institute of Chemical Research Co., Ltd in 2006. The institute currently employs over 150 staff members, with approximately 70% holding master's degrees or higher, and more than 50 possessing senior professional technical titles. As of 2024, it operates seven provincial-level engineering technology research center innovation platforms and two international cooperation platforms. Research focuses include material chemistry, organic chemistry, and environmental functional materials, among others. The institution boasts a 7,600-square-meter experimental building, a well-equipped research pilot base, and a 190-acre scientific innovation park. Adhering to a development strategy that equally emphasizes scientific research, technology transfer, and industrialization, the institute has established multiple high-tech enterprises, such as Henan Ke Hua Environmental Materials Co., Ltd., Henan Ke Hua Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd., and Zhengzhou Qichuang Chemical Co., Ltd. Since the reform and opening-up, over 500 national and provincial-level scientific research projects have been undertaken and completed, with more than 4,000 academic papers published and over 400 research achievements obtained, including over 300 authorized invention patents. The organization has been awarded 9 national science and technology progress awards and national invention awards, as well as 5 first prizes for science and technology progress in Henan Province, making significant contributions to the national and Henan provincial economic development and social progress. |
