(stock code: 000688.SZ), located in Qingshan Industrial Park, Houqi, Urat, Inner Mongolia. The project covers an area of 1,047.14 acres, with a total estimated investment of 3.1 billion yuan.
Using pyrite tailings from lead and zinc operations of Inner Mongolia Dongshengmiao Mining Company¡ªa subsidiary of Guocheng Mining¡ªas the main raw material, the facility produces sulfuric acid and iron concentrate powder as by-products. The sulfuric acid is used in the production of sulfate-processed rutile titanium dioxide. Additionally, the recycled steam from sulfuric acid waste heat is utilized for heating during the titanium dioxide production process, forming a unique ¡°sulfur¨Ctitanium¨Ciron¡± integrated production model within a circular economy industrial chain.
The project includes production capacities of 200,000 tons per year of rutile titanium dioxide, 700,000 tons per year of sulfuric acid, and 1.1 million tons per year of iron concentrate powder.
Leveraging its own mineral resource advantages, the company has established a circular economy industrial chain centered on the interconnection of sulfur, titanium, and iron. A full-process sulfuric acid production facility with an annual capacity of 200,000 tons was built in a single phase, placing the company in a globally leading position in terms of scale.
