Hanil Company Ltd. has been manufacturing and supplying Complex Inorganic Color Pigments (CICPs) in South Korea since 1982. CICPs are among the most heat-stable, light-stable, and weather-resistant pigments known. They offer exceptional durability and exhibit excellent compatibility with various types of resins and solvents. CICPs are widely used in the coloration of high-performance coatings and plastics. Near-Infrared (NIR) pigments, also referred to as cool pigments, do not absorb the NIR portion of sunlight wavelengths. By using appropriate cool pigments, even dark surfaces can remain cool under direct sunlight. Our R&D center operates under professionally organized quality systems. We assess pigment durability through direct exposure to natural sunlight and conduct accelerated weathering tests using Q.U.V. and Q-SUN equipment. For NIR pigments, we utilize a reliable UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometer to measure solar reflectance. |
