Rheology & anti-settling: Hydrophilic precipitated silica disperses quickly to prevent hard-settling in-can and sagging on application, delivering smooth lay-down, predictable viscosity and a clean finish.

Premium matting: Untreated and wax-treated grades reduce gloss efficiently with uniform appearance and a silky, non-abrasive touch—preserving clarity and film integrity at low addition levels.

Cleanability & stain resistance: Oleophobic and hydrophobic options—including water-/solvent-borne and PDMS-treated—create low-energy, non-stick surfaces that repel oils, grease and fingerprints for easy wipe-down without altering colour or gloss.

Scratch, mar & abrasion: Nano-reinforced and surface-engineered silica reduces friction, strengthens the coating matrix and helps finishes retain gloss and smoothness under daily wear.

Built-in antimicrobial: A controlled-release nanocomposite is integrated into the silica matrix to provide durable, non-leaching protection after cure, helping maintain hygiene while preserving colour and material performance.

Thermal insulation & Fire Retardant synergy: An ultra-porous, amorphous structure traps air to impede heat transfer, enabling “cool-touch” coatings that protect heat-sensitive substrates, improve energy efficiency and support fire-retardant/thermal-barrier formulations.
