Indonesia with its 270 million population is the 4^th largest country and 16^th largest economy in the world. Indonesia is rich in natural resources and with its young and vibrant population, McKinsey & Company's estimation indicates that by 2030, it is anticipated to become the 7^th largest global economy. As it stands now, Indonesia is still lagging behind in paint consumption per capita versus its neighbouring countries such as Malaysia (2x) or Thailand (3x). However, with the renewed focus on manufacturing as well as infrastructure, the demand for coatings and its raw materials is projected to increase greatly. Speaker's Introduction
Kris Adidarma is the President of the Indonesian Paint Association (APCI), leading efforts to advance the paints industry in Indonesia through advocacy, innovation and educational initiatives. With a background in chemical engineering, management and a passion for sustainable development, Kris has been instrumental in fostering collaborations between industry stakeholders and Government bodies to promote environmental responsibility and industry best practices.

Under his leadership, APCI has embarked on ambitious projects, including the establishment of Indonesia's first Paint School dedicated to advancing paints technology education. Kris's vision for the association emphasizes education, innovation and sustainability, aiming to position Indonesia as a leader in the global paints industry.

Kris is also the CEO of PT Propan Raya. Propan Raya has been leading the innovation in coatings technology in Indonesia. Propan is well known for its diverse range of coatings products from wood coatings, decorative, protective, flooring, metal, plastic and car refinish.
